If you’re looking for seriously good coffee, Ratio is absolutely the place to be. Australian founder Brent brought that relaxed Melbourne vibe straight to Salzburg. Instead of dusty traditions, you get real specialty coffee from their own roastery, minimalist design, and a super friendly, laid-back atmosphere to unwind.
On sunny days, definitely grab one of the small tables outside on Linzer Gasse – the perfect spot for people-watching away from the main crowds. Pair a perfectly textured flat white (oat milk is no extra charge!) with their homemade vegan banana bread. Coffee nerds can individually choose their filter brew beans right at the bar.

Quality has its price: You pay a bit more for excellent beans and real craftsmanship, but it’s absolutely fair.
